As you look at this picture and read the scripture, what exactly comes to your mind? What do you envision or dream of while contemplating this picture?

I have a hard time putting the picture and the Scripture together. Growing up in the 60's I was taught to belive that the peace symbol was an upside down cross and was anti-Christian. Unlike the war in Viet Nam which was righteous and holy. No slam at the men who went there and died...but truly a slam at the politicians who used a generation as fodder for their lack of commitment.
I truly do believe that we are called to be peacemakers...I'm not anti-war...just anti-stupid.
Blessed (looked on with favor) are those whose efforts to be light and salt do bring peace.
