"...more than Conquers"

The bible says we are more than conquers. It also says that if God be for us, who can be against us. I can look at this picture and be flooded with scriptures. I want to be able to look into a mirror and see Jesus...as the roaring lion of Judah! I want to look into the mirror and see Jesus starring back at me saying, "I am with you until the ends of the earth." And I'd like to hear, "I'll never leave nor forsake thee." It's like saying, "Scott, I am everywhere, where ever you are or where ever you go, I will be there." I bet many of you can arrive at certain scriptures and promises while looking at the picture. Let me know what you think. Posted by Picasa

in order to be more than conquers....we have to endure.
It's about not quitting....

I love the verse that describes Jesus' temptation in the wilderness. At the very end of the battle when Jesus has so whomped the devil for even hinting about bowing to him, the word says that the devil left him for a more opportune time.
To me that says that the enemy cannot sustain an attack. He can battle for a season. He can attack for a set time but if we stand strong and resist under the blood of Christ, we win. We overcome. SO perseverence is the key. Not quitting, not giving up. And that is why I need to surround myself with like minded people who can pray for me and me pray for them that we all make it and don't give up.
